OTS Logistics Group appoints new Global COO
Sydney, Australia (November 02, 2006) — OTS Logistics Group announced today that Charlie Brennan has been appointed Global COO with worldwide responsibility for the operations of the Group.
In his new capacity, Brennan will report directly to the group's CEO and Chairman, Owen Glenn. "I am delighted to have Charlie in this new function", Glenn said. "I have known him for over 20 years and admire his integrity, his deep knowledge of the business and his ability to motivate and manage people at all levels of the organization. We are poised to spend the next 2 years making significant acquisitions and growing the company exponentially. I felt it was time to tap into Charlie’s experience to provide stability and deep experience to our worldwide operations".
The new role will include oversight of OTS LG Asia Pacific, Latin American and European operations. "I am going to enjoy the broad scope of this role”, Brennan commented. The appointment is effective immediately and follows on the heels of a 3 day management summit recently concluded in Sydney.
